F to the Estival!

こんにちは!!

SO MANY FESTIVALS IN JAPAN, I love it.
This weekend, which is still not over (but I'm not really doing anything today - I really needed to relax) was really much fun!

But let's start at Thursday, the day after the zoo day.
Thursday was super nice and fun! In the school time we (Carris - whose name I've been spelling wrong, it's actually Charis) brought our yukata's to school. There was this teacher who teached us how to put them on correctly, something that many Japanese people can't do themselves (she said), so that was nice. It was really fun and actually not that hard, but well.. If you compare it to taking on a normal dress or something, then it really wasn't that simple. There was like 5 different things you had to bind around your stomach haha. It was super fun though and it turned out good. So I'm really happy.
We went to watch baseball in the evening, Fighters (from Hokkaido) vs. Giants (from Tokyo). It was SUPER fun and I had no clue that I would love baseball as much as I do now. Japan really changed me for the better, I was the least sporty, most lazy person back in Denmark, but now I love watching sports & trying out all sorts of new sports - it's so nice not to sit on your ass all day anymore haha. Anyway, the game was super nice, I learned the rules while watching it and got SO into it. The Fighters won and were super great!! The company who sponsor the Fighters is called Nippon-Ham and they obviously sell ham, so everytime the Nippon-Ham Fighters win -  the price of ham goes down in Hokkaido, how cool is that haha? So not only did the Hokkaido pride team win, but they also give us cheaper ham - it's so cool, I love it haha. When we returned home I was so bombed that I went straight to bed and fell asleep before my head hit the pillow.

We went to the Ainu museum on Friday, it was nice, though it was super boring at time (all in Japanese etc.) but it was actually quite interesting most of the time, so that was nice. Charis and I were so tired, because, as it turns out, Charis was also at the game the day before - so yea, we knew how each other felt, completely bombed.

I went with my friends to this festival at Nakajima Koen straight after school, it was so nice - super fun, but there was also WAY too many people, it was soooo crowded, but how can you not love it and enjoy yourself anyway, I mean - it's a goddamn festival! You can do whatever the f*** you feel like doing without getting crazy looks (people look at me all the time though, so well, no difference for me haha). Mikko, Misato and I went inside the two ghosthouses that were placed in the festival and I swear, I almost peed my pants twice, but I love ghosthouses and scary movies, so yea haha. There was these small children who suddenly was holding on to Misato and I, which made Mikko vanish in the background with some other kids. The kids were so scared, they screamed and so on, Misato and I half laughed half screamed, because we walked in the front - and I swear, the people who scares you just run from behind a way you couldn't even see and scares the hell out of you! It was so much fun and therefore we went to number two, where the children then wanted to go with us again - so yea, we let them go with us and is was super fun haha. Then I had to get home and eat, but the day was amazing.

Saturday I just slept and read most of the day, because my feet hurt from A LOT of walking, I mean really, I have SO many blizters (and I got even more this day!!), but, well, in the afternoon I went to Maruyama Koen to meet with Michelle, my feet was a little better so it was fine (and I, of course, wore heels as always, so today my feet are dead). At Maruyama Koen there was a festival, but it was really boring - the only fun thing was the parade - which I didn't see much of, so yea.. Michelle and I thought that we could just as well go to the festival at Nakajima Koen, because, 1) EVERYBODY was at Nakajima Koen & 2) It was REALLY boring at Maruyama Koen (koen by the way, means park). So we went to Nakajima Koen and as I though, it was crowded - just like the day before. It was much fun though, we walked around and laughed and talked about boys - as always. We also ate french fries and some cute chocolate covered bananas, that really is the essence of a Japanese festival. While we were sitting eating the french fries, two guys walked past us and I swear.. They had the worst style EVER! So we couldn't help, but look and chuckle a little, but of course they were also looking at us, so the little one waved at us - and stupid as I am, I waved back - so they stopped and I looked at Michelle and said "RUN!" and so we did. We ran as fast as we could in heels, through the crowd until we found a place to hide and then we burst laughing - it was amazing. Fun thing was, we met one of my school friends there - she was waiting for her friend, so that was nice. We just talked a little and then Michelle and I walked further. There was also some really weird guys, not our types, who gave us thumps up and stuff like that, it was really like a festival haha. After a while we were standing in the middle of a crowd not really knowing what to do, so we just stood there chattered and looked for boys haha. As we walked we saw these guys who looked at us - a lot! So we decided to follow them and keep close to them. They stopped and so did we, we kept talking about talking to them and looked at them etc. so after a while they send one of their friends over to talk to us - which they always do - and then they came afterwards and we talked a little. After a while of talking Michelle almost hit my arm and whispered "Give him your mail!!" and so I did, thinking she would do the same thing afterwards, but when I finished giving it to him they said bye and walked away and Michelle just looked at me speechless. It was so much fun haha. Afterwards we kept talking about it etc. but it was about time to go home. So we went to Odori and did some Purikura before going home, because well, we love purikura! It was so much fun.
(Thank you Michelle, for the awesome pictures below with your awesome camera, even though I have no idea what is up with my hair!!)
Today, well now, I'm still super bombed and the guy wrote me haha. Turns out his name is Jukin - a name I NEVER heard before, so that took my by surprise - because I do know a lot of Japanese names. He really isn't my type, but he's nice and well... I like kidding around with people, so when he send me a picture of himself in his second mail, I couldn't do anything, but ask why he didn't have any shoes on haha. He says that his friend likes Michelle though, so let's see what's going to happen there - if anything is going to happen, that is. He also goes to the same school as Michelle - so that was just epic (not his friend, but him).

Well, that's all I have for now! Hope you enjoyed.
Take care!
