So... I haven't really had much to write about lately haha.
We ended up watching Batman the last time and DAMN it was good. I really did indeed love it. I think I can say, without giving too much away, that the next Batman movie they're going to make HAVE to be a remake of Batman & Robin. At least I hope so. I recommend all of you to go see it! It's worth it! When I saw it, the British teacher from my school came in and sat one row behind me. What are the odds? I mean that never happened to me in Denmark before, which is almost more likely when you think about how big this city is and how little Denmark is haha. It was fun though.
We had a buddhist monk coming to our house as well. I don't know exactly why, they said something about it's because it's summer and then everybody do this ritual thingy. It was quite fun, pretty much like last time though, so now I know what to do if he is to come again haha. The monk himself is a super nice person, really, but well, he should be, shouldn't he? That was quite fun.
I also met with my LP to go eat some lunch. That was nice, I have the sweetest LP really! One thing I didn't realize until that day though, was that AFS apparently don't pay for your monthly pass in the summer holiday, which means I have to pay all my transportation fares myself. Couldn't someone have told me that? I'm in BIG lack of money. It's super expensive for me to go to Odori without my pass and we always meet in Odori. I have no idea what to do about it right now, I have to meet a lot of friends this month - I mean, obviously, it's my God damn summer vacation! So yea, what I'm going to do I'm not quite sure of - but I've survived till now and there's only one damn week of summer vacation left, next Monday is school start. I could really use some more vacation haha.
The summer is the time where Japanese people really get in touch with God, or what you say. God and the spirits. So that's why the monk came to our house. We've also been visiting a graveyard and been to a bonodori - which is a dance where you 'dance with the dead people'. It's really nice, that was hard to do, but lots of fun definitely!
I also met with some friends from Asahikawa and Eden. It was Naomi, who is half Japanese, half American, and her little sister, Kaia. They are some amazing persons that I'll NEVER forget and I definitely hope that I get to keep in touch with them for a long time!! They're the nicest. Eden and I decided to meet at Sapporo station about 20 minutes before the girls would arrive, it was their first time in Sapporo, so they would like us to be there when they came obviously. I waited for Eden, who wrote that he would be a little late, it was fine, but suddenly 15 minutes had passed by and I would have to move soon if I wanted to be able to get there in time. I wrote that to him and short after got a big hug from behind, GOD that shocked the crab out of me. The first thing Eden said to me was, "It is Erika right? I didn't hug the wrong foreigner right? That happened to me before." Haha, that's so typical him. I was the only foreigner there besides him though, so it's not like I would be the wrong one haha. We sat down and waited for them to arrive, when he suddenly asked me to feel his leg, because he apparently had gotten a lot of muscle going on down there, so I felt it and he was right. Then I said he should feel mine, since my leg muscles also have been getting a lot bigger since I came here, but I forgot that with his big hands and manpower - it would feel like nothing, instead it tickled like hell haha. So he found that really funny and wouldn't stop it. After they came we went to Odori and back to Sapporo station later. We ran around to do shopping, tried a lot of different things on etc. it was SO much fun. I ended up buying a new cover for my iPhone (it looks like a suitcase, I will put a picture up when I get the time) and an Onigiri phone strap - Naomi bought one too, so I'll always think about her when I see it! It's our strap!! We took purikura as well of course, we took one normal which was cute of course, while we were editing the normal one, Eden suddenly appears behind us in a kigurumi for those who doesn't know what a kigurumi is, it's what you can see in the purikura pictures below - you can get it in all sorts of characters and animals! so we thought that that would be super fun, if all of us took those on and took purikura. And so we did. I have to say, that that honestly is the BEST purikura I've taken so far. It was soooo much fun and WAY too hot haha. We got hungry at some point as well and walked all the around Sapporo, Susukino and Odori, going in to a lot of different stores trying to find something cheap, but delicious! We ended up in a store that smelled good, like curry, but inside had nothing to do with curry. It tasted absolutely amazing and we had a lot of fun!! Then after a lot of walking, shopping and fun, we went to Starbucks at Sapporo station and then Eden and I sent them off. Eden gave them some candy before they went of, it was long jelly things. They looked like snakes. Then it was just the two of us and he still had one candy snake left, he asked me if I wanted him to rip it in two or that eat it with him until we came mouth to mouth, I said that I basically didn't really care much about which one to do, so whichever was fine. He then took the mouth to mouth as a choice and we started eating it. It was super fun, but he is way too tall to do things like that with - so when it was a little over halfway I cut it off so I wouldn't get my neck hurt haha. Then he asked if I had to go home right away or if I wanted to hang out a little. Why not hang out a little now we were there anyway? So we stayed. We had no idea what to do, so we decided to go catch a movie. When we came to the cinema, none of the movies we wanted to see came right away, so we went down and looked around stores instead. It was all super fun, he even carried me down two escalators even though I begged him to put me down haha. We looked like a weird couple I think, I mean, he is a lot taller than meeveryone who isn't Japanese is anyway haha but still a couple. In Japan if a guy and a girl is alone together, it'll be seen as a date or as they are a couple. Funny right? Not at all how we see it, but it didn't help at all that he kept hugging me when we stood still, a thing I asked him to stop doing at last, because that isn't something you do on the street in Japan and people looked enough already. But not just that, when we were shopping he took my hand and like that, super cute etc. but hard to hold his hand when he's that much taller than me and I'd taken off my heels. So I took a grip around his arm instead. Then we went to Odori park, where we spent most of the time before going home. He laid down with his head in my lap and I started writing on his neck with eyeliner. It was funny and we talked a lot for about an hour and a half or so. We decided, that when the Avengers movie is coming out - we'll see it together, so I'm definitely looking forward to that. Mostly because I can't wait to see more to Loki from Thor haha!
Other than that I have been doing next to nothing. I've been reading manga in Japanese, because I found out that I actually am able to do that by now!! So that's a great way of studying and I've been watching Japanese TV dramas and some American as well. I've also talked to my mother for three hours, it was fun and we decided to go to Mallorca when I get home. So I'm pumped, that made the whole going home thing seem a lot nicer, but the fun thing is I will be in Denmark for nothing more than one or two days before we go to Mallorca - so I won't even have to unpack haha. That's amazing right? Nothing is sure yet, though, but I hope it'll be like that!
I also started using my instagram again, I haven't used that in forever! So if you want to see a lot of pictures from my everyday life (even tough most of them come here anyway) then follow me on instagram, my name is erikarou - as it is on facebook, twitter and everywhere else that I have an user haha!
Also one of my family's cars can take off/down the roof!! I LOVE that kind of cars, they're SO cool. Gotta love it haha. So I've been cruising around in that! We also had a pretty sky, again, and we ate some SUPER delicious sashimi for dinner today!! (The last three days have been restaurants, one day even twice, so it was nice sitting at home eating!)
That's all for now, thank you for reading!!
Take care!
