Feathers Fly High: Got it, YES!

Let's get staaaarted!

I'm in a good mood these days, like legit. I can't get that smile of my lips and I guess that's just a good thing, right? It's better than so much else at least haha.

Oh well, let's get started in some of that story telling!

So in case I didn't already write it, I sprained my right elbow during our sports day. I was playing basket and ran straight into a third year in a try to get the ball, didn't go so good haha. At least I did get the ball. Anyway, we came in number two in the tournament so that isn't SO bad.

After school on that Friday, Mikko and I went to buy him a birthday present. I mean, he told me to come back Saturday and that he would give me the cover Saturday, so I wanted to give him something as well and went out to find him a bracelet. Little did I know, it's damn hard to find something that would suit him without buying in the men's stores in 4pla, but of course, I didn't want him to see nor know that I bought him a present, so Mikko and I walked Pole Town looking for stores. We found this store that sells a lot of different kind of bracelets, it's called "Stone Market" and everything is made of different stones in a lot of colours etc. It was all amazingly pretty, but unfortunately also expensive haha. I did find the perfect bracelet for him there though and got the whole FUCK IT, I'm buying it! attitude. I mean, even if I don't get nothing out of buying him something expensive, I still believe in good karma - this is not THAT much karma haha - but being unselfish and sometimes just following your heart or the feeling in your stomach. So yea, I bought it and would give it to him the day after. I wrote a note and put it in the present as well. The note said thanks etc. and at the end it contained my mail. I would give it to him and tell him not to open it before he got home, so that if he didn't want to write me - he wouldn't do it in front of my face at least.

The Bracelet

The day after that, Saturday, I would be going out with Emma. Before that I would go to 4pla though and give him my present and get mine. So I went there in the morning and when I came there I was feeling damn nervous, all the - what if he doesn't write me stuff etc. but I went there and I talked with him a little. Then he was like, sorry but I forgot it! Of course that was fine and I just laughed. He told me to come back the next day, because he would put it in his bag tonight and then just keep it there until he gave it to me, so I was like that's fine. I didn't give him mine either.

Then I went to Miyanosawa to have fun with Emma. We had a lot of fun, what we didn't do, really. We bought chips and sat down eating them in the middle of the center, we ate ice cream, drank juice and free coffee. It was all super nice. Of course we also did a lot of talking, window shopping and purikura. It's always super much fun hanging out with Emma. She's a nice girl. When we were going to take purikura I had to make my 500 yen into 100 yens and I used the wrong machine, so we got 500 yen worth of game coins to play for. I just looked at Emma, my mouth hanging open. She, like me, looked like she though FUCK what do we do NOW?! haha we basically panicked. Then we took them to the counter and Emma explained what happened for me, thank GOD I have her, so we got the money back and made them to 100 yens in the right machine. Thank God for that, haha.

Other than that we didn't do much. We talked about boys etc. especially when I'm this interested in that one guy, I have to pour it out to her haha, she listened and came with her thoughts - like any good friend would, so I was happy for that. Well, we just talked about everything! I also managed to lose my purikura somewhere.... So that sucked haha.

The sky was amazing on my way home that day!

Sunday there was the AFS event. I thought I would go earlier to go see if he remembered the cover, so I took the earlier train than I would have. Little did I know, when the train came to Odori and you could see out from the train he was walking right on the other side of the train. I most have looked extremely surprised, because that was obviously not anything I had expected. He looked somewhat surprised as well and just stopped and waited for me to come out of the train. I walked up to him and was all like, this is rare! I thought he lived in Odori, like central Odori, so that he didn't need to take the train to work - turns out he lives close to the school Marina went to, which isn't that far away from Odori, but it isn't that far from my school either. It really surprised me haha. So we walked and talked a little. At last he asked me if I would want to have dinner with him sometime, he said the three of us - meaning Mikko as well - but I still took it as a date, kind of haha. I was like definitely! After that I asked if he brought the cover today, unfortunately he forgot it. This time I told him that I have a gift for him as well though, so I would give it to him, when he remembered mine, haha.

Then I went to the AFS event. I met the new Michelle, who is at the same school as Eden and Museon and I met a guy named Marco who's at Emma's school. They're the 'summer kids' who came here in August. They were both super nice, so I was glad to meet them. I also saw the old Michelle again, we obviously didn't talk nor anything, so that suited me just fine. I can manage being the same place as her, as long as I'm not forced to talk to her etc. After that we started the event, which was a damn sports event. How much don't you just want to do sports with a sprained elbow? .... Well, it turned out to be fun - so I was glad, it was a nice day.

Before going home I met with Mikko at Odori. We went to 4pla together where we talked with the guy I like again and we went to talk to the guy she likes. She also bought something from the store he works in. It was a lot of fun, not just talking to him, but just seeing how happy she is around him - and I get it, not only am I the exactly same with the guy I like, but the guy she likes is both handsome and extremely sweet, funny etc. so of course I get it. So the guy she likes had bought the exact same shirt and she just bought, so he told us to come back Tuesday and he would take a picture of them in their matching shirts and put it on the blog. After that we returned home.

When I came home Por-chan was there, they were all sitting in the car and therefore just picked me up on their way to a ramen restaurant. It's been so long since I've seen Por-chan so I was SO happy to finally see her again. We couldn't really greet each other though - since she was riding shotgun. So when we arrived at the restaurant she and I ran inside and as soon as we were inside we just hugged each other for long saying OH IT'S BEEN SO LOOOOONG etc. it was so nice. Afterward we saw the confused reaction of the two laughing guys who always work this ramen shop, so that was a lot of fun. I still speak English with Por-chan, we both think it's weird to talk Japanese together, because the 3 months she lived here we only talked English, because, well, I wasn't able to talk Japanese. She was also extremely surprised by how much Japanese I can speak by now. That made me super happy, that even she can see the improvement!

Monday Por-chan and I did a little shopping in Shimamura, but that's also all we did, haha.

Tuesday, Mikko and I went to 4pla after school. We changed clothes in a toilet etc. so that we wouldn't be in our uniforms, there obviously would be no reason for us to come if she didn't wear the shirt and I obviously didn't want to be the only one in uniform, so I changed as well. We then went to 4pla where the guy she likes was extremely busy, so we just went to some of the other stores and talked, looked at things etc. when he still wasn't done with that costumer we went two floors up to just look around there, then we looked around at the floor just above and so on, basically just to kill time haha. We went back down and he was still busy, so I said we could just as well go take purikura to kill time and she was in on that. Meanwhile I asked her if she thought I should give the guy I like the present today, because I just didn't want to wait anymore etc. she said anytime would be fine, so why not do it today? That's true. But if he didn't write me, that would suck big time haha. I didn't say that to her tough, I didn't tell her that I'd put my mail in there.

When we finally went back to the store he was not in the store, so we figured he might be on break right now and therefore walked in the store looking around. We could just as well kill time looking IN the store he works until he gets back. So yea, that's what we did. When he finally came, we talked with him, took the picture etc. it was nice, he's a lot of fun and I promised him to come back and buy a shirt from the store one day. I would like to buy the same as hers, because I mean, just look at the purikura! It's so freaking cool!

Then we were just about to go home, I had decided not to give him the present this day. When we went to the escalator, the guy I like + the guy who mocked us saying we should start dating stood talking. Mikko looked at them and stopped me and I looked back at them and looked at her and kept doing that, but no one said anything so I was like 'What?' I had no idea what was going on. Then I looked at Mikko and she was like nodding her head towards them and we walked over there and started talking. Mikko then took the guy I like's friend and walked away, leaving me alone with him. We just instantly started talking about everything you could possibly talk about, I mean, it went from Final Fantasy to hair colours, broken legs and arms, piercings, beer, Denmark and Japan and so on. It was an 30 min long conversation, because I unfortunately had to go home not long after. I did hand him my present though and I regretted it spot on as I gave it to him. I wanted to take it back and remove my mail from the present, because we'd had an amazing conversation. I mean, he even said that we should all go out to drinks or lunch/dinner together sometime. I was obviously saying yes to it all, being filled with happiness haha, it was just straight up amazing. Then, after that, we went home. I didn't get any mails from him that whole day, I saw he wrote the stores blog and put a picture of the bracelet up - where he also wrote thanks, so I wrote a comment saying no problem etc. of course and he commented again saying thanks haha. I also realised how popular he actually is with girls, since everybody was like 'Let's go out sometime' or 'Who are you always going to these places with, just the two of you?!' and stuff like that. Of course I would like to know too, but I'm not going to ask. I mean, it is his private business after all and I wouldn't ask him until I knew it was 'safe' - if you know what I mean. After that I went to bed.

The next day, Wednesday, in the first period - we had Maths. In Maths I was laying on the table being all tired when suddenly I got a weird feeling of excitement in my stomach, I'm not even overrating it, it got that feeling and felt like I should look at my phone. As soon as I looked at my phone, I saw he had written me. DAMN I was happy and couldn't stop smiling like an idiot. Typical me. So I answered him an hour or so later, when I had time. I was in school after all. I just kept feeling super happy etc. and I couldn't get over the fact that my stomach had reacted like that - as it knew - right before I got it. I mean, that's pretty cool right? So we just wrote a little about the whole going out together, the four of us and he said he would ask his friend.

Thursday he wrote and asked if I was coming to the store that day, because he finally remembered to bring the cover. I was pumped and went there with Mikko after school. It was just as cool as I though it would be and he apparently dyed his hair black. How come black hair looks just as good on him as any other kind of hair? Lucky guy. Anyway, he gave it to me - we talked very little and Mikko and I went home.

I shit you not, this cover/seal is the coolest.

He said he would mail me when his friend answers about going out for dinner or whatever Wednesday, but nothing yet. I'm still waiting haha. It's kind of killing me, because I'm dying to talk to him, but I don't want to be THAT girl. So I'm just going to have to be patient.

Today Por-chan and I will go shopping in Odori and then we will come home where apparently some stylist will come to give my host mother a makeover. After that we will go to this AMAZING restaurant. I can't wait. It'll be a nice day.
