おはよう!!
Golden week is almost finished, so I want to tell you a little about what I've been up to! Saturday April 29th, I was supposed to go to school, but I was lucky that AFS held an orientation the same day which kind of freed me from school! The AFS meeting was super nice, mostly because I got to talk to Michelle and the others again - I mean, you miss speaking with someone not Japanese at times. After the meeting Michelle, Emma, MuSeon and I went purikuraing' in Sapporo eki. It was super fun & we also ate some really tasty ice cream!

I only got 1 point in bowling...... |
The day after Por-chan, Otousan & I went ice skating - it was super fun! Even though it wasn't really Por-chans strong side. She is from Thailand afterall! I tried to teach her and at the end of the day she was actually getting a lot better. It was a lot of fun and there was these little Japanese girls who did figure skating and was absolutely amazing! After the ice skating we went to a game center and played tons of games! It was so fun & I swear our arms hurt the next they from the boxing game, haha.
After we've been in the game center for quite a while, we went to eat okonomiyaki - which both Por-chan and I loves way too much!
May 1st, Por-chan and I went to Odori to meet my LP. From Odori we walked to Sapporo eki and bought some small things before leaving with a train to a place between Sapporo & Otaru, where my LP lives. We ate some nice lunch and talked a lot - it was really nice. She even gave me a back & Por-chan some new shoes - which was really sweet of her!! She's a really nice person. Then we went to a shop called Shimamura. This shops has SO much cute clothes and it's just soooo cheap! Por-chan and I went around trying on all sorts of things & of course I ended up buying something - pictures will come later. At Sapporo eki I found out that there's a lot of bakers inspired by Denmark, they have all these 'danish' names, there was Café Danmark, The Little Mermaid (a bakery) & something called something with the word danish. I also know that there should be a bakery called Andersen or Anderson in honor of H. C. Andersen. My LPs' husband told me that Denmark is VERY famous in Japan. They LOVE lego, they even have lego clubs at their universities, he told me. In these clubs they will build these amazing and extremely big things out of lego. He also told me that Søren Kierkegaard was really famous - he himself, loved to read Søren Kierkegaard. It came as quite a surprise for me.
Then we went to Otaru where my LP paid for Por-chan and I so we could make this cute little glass balls! It was so much fun, he took a picture of us for the homepage - but it's not up yet. I made a little blue ball with some with in it & Por-chan made a white ball with pink dots. It was so much fun!! After making the balls, we went to the Otaru museum, where I beat some kind of wierd record in making fire haha - it was so much fun. After that, we went to the ocean and looked at the beautiful sunset & mountains. Then we went to an Italian restaurant and ate some super delicious food. There were so many dishes & a nice dessert.
May 2nd I went shopping with Misato, Miwa & Mikiko. We went purikuraing' as always, then we ate some delicious tempura & after that we ate some crepes & went to sing karaoke. It was all so much fun!! The day after this Otousan, Por-chan & I went canoeing. There was also this big graveyard we visited on our way, it was so nice!! The weather have been so good these days, so the sakura also started blooming - hanami must soon come to Hokkaido. I'm SO looking forward!
After all this we went on a two day trip to Niseko. In Niseko we went river rafting, it was so much fun and the guide was just so good - even though he didn't speak English and I don't speak THAT much Japanese, he were able to make me understand it all. A shoutout for NAC's Ken-kun, Nac - Niseko Adventure Centre. Pictures from the River Rafting will be send to us by post, we should have them sometime next week. We slept at this pension, where we got some really nice food. On our way home, we stopped at this little cute leather shop and Sayaka-chan, Por-chan and I made these leather keychains - it was really nice & a good memory to have.
I had A LOT of videos I would like to put in this blog, but Blogger wouldn't let me upload them. Unfortuneately. Maybe I'll get them up somehow later on. I hope all of you have had a good week!! Mine was amazing!Take care <3
