Way too long

こんばんは!!

So, I've had way too many things to do lately & haven't updated my blog because of that - but I finally found some time!
I've mostly spend my time in school & sleeping, but some other things have happened as well.
We went to this beautiful park in Sapporo not that long ago and it was so nice! After that we ate some extremely delicious cakes!!

I've also been out with friends a couple of time and done WAY too much purikura haha, I even went karaoke!! Which I wanted to do for sooo long - I mean that is SO Japanese haha. It was really fun.

I also finally went to Starbucks with Mikko and I have tried 5 different KitKat flavours now - incl. the Green Tea taste which doesn't taste like green tea, but taste damn good! It is green though.

We went to Chitose lake which was SO beautiful & so much fun and after that we went to Mount Moiwa - which was also really nice - you could see all of Sapporo from there - and I swear - Sapporo is god damn big! I even found a poor butterfly at the top of the mountain - I've got some great photos of it, and turns out almost every Japanese person is afraid of butterflies?!
Chitose Lake
Mt. Moiwa
We also held Otousan's birthday. We went to this super expensive restaurant, where we got like this booth for ourselves with a great view over Odori. When we came the menu was already on the table & everything. It looked SO expensive, but tasted SO amazing & it was all seafood. So that was really nice.

I will try and update more often!! Take care!!

Hunger Games

こんばんは!!

I had this dream some days ago, I'm pretty sure it's inspired by the Hunger Games. I've been reading the books & finished all three of them in six days, which might be new record. I mean, two days each & they're like 600-800 pages each, but they're just SO good - I recommend them for everyone! They should be read in English though, because they're really amazingly described in the English language. Well, here's the dream - described as good as possible;

I was lying in a dark room, it was hard to see anything, but there was a hint of red light which made the others bloodthirsty eyes look even worse. A little girl, the girl I swore to protect with my own life, only 8 years old, was lying in my arms on the ice cold floor. We were lying there for what felt like hours, before something happened. A bell rang in the far distance, the red light vanished and left the room in complete darkness. The adrenaline rushed through my blood as I heard the movement of the other participants and I knew I had to move before somebody found us. These seconds could mean the difference between life and death. I threw the little girl over my shoulder, grabbed my knife tight and started moving. I moved as silently I could, completely pressed up against the wall. Now and then I heard a scream from the far distant, you could count the people dying, by the difference of their screams. As soon as a scream vanished, you knew they were dead. No doubt. Suddenly a bright light blinded me, I shocked me so much that I didn't pay much attention to my grib around the little girl, but I didn't realize that until it was too late. I felt someone grab her from my shoulder. They put a knife straight through my shoulder right after. The warm blood spread slowly around my shoulder and upper-chest. Full of adrenaline, I followed the screams of the little girl, while I swung my knife back and forth in front of me. Finally, I hit something - or rahter someone - the person fell to the ground with a lot of noise and I was sure I'd hit the his throat. All this happened in a few seconds of blindness. When I was finally able to see again, the man whose throat I had cut wide open, catched my eye. It wasn't a pretty sight, all the blood, the open throat, but what caught my eye was his smile. He wore a nasty smile and he had a satisfied look in his eyes. Why would he have that? The answer was right in front of me. He had the little girl in, what must have been a firm grib before I killed him, she had an arrow pressed through her heart. I almost couldn't bear the thought of her being dead, but if I gave up now she would have died in vain, so I gave her a affectionaly pet on the shoulder and kissed her forehead before I ran. I ran and ran until I was somwhere, I knew would be safe. For now. I must have dozed off, because the sound of hundres of hooves woke me. I grabbed my knife in a tight grib and sat right up. Right in front of me was a big black horse, lookin straight into my eyes. It's rider didn't seem like good news - well, the only good news here, would be that everybody else has just died, so you could go home. I shook my knife and cut the horse across it's head, I didn't like to hurt it - it haven't done anything wrong anyway, but I had to do something - and it worked. The horse balked, which took the rider off guard. He fell of and judging by the way he landed he was surely dead, but to know for certain I took my knife and stabbed him right through the his heart. The feeling of killing another human being didn't suit me at all. It was awful! Just as my knife was deeply secured inside the riders chest, someone grapped both my arms from behind of me & put something, judging from the smell - a potato sack, over my head. Weaponless & blinded, the feeling of being defendless. I couldn't help, but think, why haven't they just killed me? What do they want to do with me?

The smell woke me up, I slowly opened my eyes, only to find out that the sack was in fact still there. How long had I been out? What was that awful smell? The smell of the potato sack was nothing compared to this. I could feel a cool wind and guessed we were somewhere outside, but where, I couldn't possibly know. Finally the sack got removed, the smell got ten times worse and I wished I could crawl back into the sack, when my surroundings caught my eye. About hundred soldiers were standing looking at me, armed with loaded weapons which were pointed at me. To of them lifted me towards the well, where one superior man stood. Guessing by the level of respect the soldiers treated him with, I guessed he must be the man in charge. When we reached the man he raised a han, which made the mass silent and the two other soldiers releasing their grib of me. "You've been alive for way to long" he said with a nasty smile. "We wont just kill you off here and now, that would be too easy, but we have one last task for you - to see if you're worthy of keeping your life." As he said that, his smile grew even nastier and he opened the lid of the well. The smell, which I had though was horrible until now, grew ten times worse and I had to hold my breath, so I didn't puke right here on the spot. "This well is filled with rotten participants" he pointed at the well and looked straight into my eyes, with his black, but deadly ones. "You will have to go to the bottom of it, find a key, go to the middle and unlock a gate, which will take you to freedom." His nasty smile grew bigger and he flicked, which made two soldiers lift me down in the well. The smell was unbearable and I tried my best not to puke. "One last thing," he started while he putted the lid on, "if get hungry - remember you're surrounded by food." The glimse in his eyes as the lid closed was so evil, so intense - that I knew, that the so-called key & gate probably wouldn't be anywhere to be found.

So that was my dream. There will be a 'real' post tomorrow.
Take care <3

Schooooooooooooool

こんばんは!!

3 days of real school so far and I'm really really really tired all the time! This week I have to have every subject my class have, so I can choose which subjects I don't understand anything in and get private Japanese lessons instead of them, but really, when we have two history periods straight after each other I feel like I'm dying, because I don't understand anything, I can't do anything and I just sit there and overwork' my brain. That is REALLY tiresome, believe me! Can't wait to get weekend & next week which will be so much easier!!
I love calligraphy class as well & I joined the Guitar Club as well - can't wait to play guitar again!

This is not the one I did, I'm not that good yet - But this is my friend Mikkos!
So the first day we had Math (I don't remember which) we had a test and really, that was one of the hardest things ever....! I think I could answer half a question & it was probably wrong - I mean, the things they learn in Math over here is just.... Wild!
Random class picture - don't remeber which lesson.
Today when we had Math, the only words I understood was not Math related at all; "To like", "I'm happy", "Classical Music" & somthing about something being itchy. He makes the class laugh every 5 minute, I have no idea what he's saying, but it really - it must be funny!

I also had my first lesson with our british teacher, Ivan, today! It was nice - that & English, is the only lessons I understand fully! He's really sweet and I who love british accent, really like his lessons - so that's good!

The girls at my school still isn't used to me being there, I get waves from strangers all the time, people yell my name and when I look they just wave and run away - it's really funny actually and everybody is just saying "Hello" or "Hi" all the time! Some girls even gets dragged in my classroom by other girls & gets forced to talk to me, the only thing they really say is "I'm so nervous!!" and then they look at the other girls & I try to keep a conversation going - believe me, that is NOT easy when they're so nervous and shy! It's really funny though, peoples reactions to everything I do. I told some girls from my class that I really like the Japanese singer Gackt and I swear, they SCREAMED - and that's the same reaction I get from everyone, everytime I say it - it's really overwhelming haha.

When we have to eat lunch we put four tables together & so many people come and sit around our table that we can barely be there haha.
What I did the last few days - ate a lot of pizza, went to the cinema again and watched Sherlock Holmes, which was really good! Over the popcorn picture, is all the things you can buy in the cinema haha. Then some Wonka Chocolate - inspired from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - as you can see on the backside & a cute little glass octopus! And of course the Lego Chopstick sign, which reminded me of Denmar & Otousan with his cute hat haha.
In the trains I ride everyday I can feel it to, and on the streets, people are looking and little kids are following me, pointing at me or saying to other people "LOOK!". In the trains, when I said "See you tomorrow" to my friend as she went off the train, I heard some boys repeating what I said several times - and I said in Japanese, so I have no idea why they thought it was so interesting, but oh well. I love how you never know, how Japanese people react to things you say or do, because it really is funny to see & hear haha.

After school today Mikko & I went to Odori where I bought some clothes and a Gackt CD, afterwards we went to a h.NAOTO store and looked at the cool clothes. Then we went to look at some V-kei music & we found out that Sadie will come and sign CDs etc, so we're going there in June - I really can't wait! It's going to be super haha.
Can't wait <3
Yesterday on my way to school I fell on blackice and wounded my hand and leg. It still hurts, but it's not so bad anymore. The worst thing about it was that I had to do my speech in front of the whole school, standing there bleeding. I wasn't able to go to the school nurse until after.
At least we ate delicious sashimi when I came home after school!

So that's pretty much what I've been up to.
Take care!!

A lot of stuff & Schooool!!

こんばんは!!

So, I haven't had so much time to blog in these days - I've had a lot of other things on my mind.

After Por-chan and I played badminton for those two hours, my muscles were so damn sore. So Otousan gave me some massage and booked me a real massage for the day after. That day I got a massage from a blind woman, who both Otousan & Okaasan go to get massages by. She was really good and in two hours she made my muscles back to normal - which was SO nice.
Later that day I met Por-chans old Japanese teacher, whose name is also Erika (first time I've met someone with the same name as me). Erika was really sweet and we spent some days with her where we shopped, ate Kani (crab) & sushi, visited Sapporo JR Tower - which have a GREAT view over the city. Everything was fun and amazing!
The view from the JR Tower!
Suuuushi <3
Kani <3 <3

Afterwards we went to Otaru, which is a nice little city not so long from Sapporo - it's so close to the sea, so it was really nice to see the sea & the mountains which are really close as well - we could really see the places people skii in the vinter! We bought a lot of Royce Chocolate in Otaru - and it taste sooo good!!
Otaru <3
Then we visited my school & the Skii-jump stadion right next to it! It was nice seeing my school, knowing I'll be going there for a year!
Pictures from the whole day!
And finally, today! I went to school today - my first day! It's Saturday, I know - but it's the only Saturday in the whole year we have to go to school - so that's okay. It was really nice meeting my classmates & everything. People were so nice and everybody spoke really well English - which was quite a surprise. When I came though, a girl screamed when she saw me - which gave me a big shock and it was a little overwhelming, but besides that, everything was great. Even though all the students stood outside our classeroom and peered inside. Today was the entrance cermony, so we just had to sing a song, hear some speeches, get some teachers introduced, get books & a lot of info-papers etc. So it was okay. I can't wait to real school start this Monday - and my uniform is really cute. So really, everything is GREAT !! Some of my classmates gave me some candy as well.
When I returned home Por-chan & I went shopping.

Pictures from today !!
So that was all from now ! Take care everybody <3

I love Sapporo <3 <3 <3

Shopping & Badminton

こんばんは!

It was snowing really bad yesterday & snowed a lot today, as well. Today, it turned to rain about 16:00. It's been raining since then. Yesterday Por-chan & I went out in the snow for some time, it was really nice - especially because I've spent so much time inside - studying or reading etc.

Today Por-chan & I woke up, ate breakfast, watched an episode of "冬のサクラ" - then I made us some lunch and we went outside to catch our bus. We decided to go to Odori in the center of Sapporo and shop. It was really nice, but in the bus I put my card the wrong place and it got stuck - Por-chan & I panicked, we had no idea what to do - and we couldn't get to Odori without, because you use the same card for the trains. Our busdriver got it out somehow, so we were able to get take the train. We took the train to Odori station, where we walked straight to "Pole Town" and looked around. There was a lot of cute things & we ended up buying some shirts. Then we did some purikura, as we love to do. Afterwards we went to a drugstore & bought some "Oil Paper", which you use to remove oil from your face, and a lip balm. Both of us dropped the money, our cashier gave us. Afterwards we went to play badminton - we walked for about 20 - 30 minutes to get there. It was really fun playing, but it was also really difficult - I'm not used to playing badminton, but two hours later, when we sat in the car on our way home, I was a whoooole lot better at badminton. When we returned home Otousan changed from workclothes to normal clothes & we went out to eat ramen. I'm the first exchange student my family have for a year (and I am their #21), but I'm probably also the first to spit my ramen noodles all over the table + okaasan, because they made me laugh so hard.

Well all in all, this day was something else - and it was amazing!

Take care!!
