In Time & Tea

こんにちは！

I figured that I put so many related pictures on the blog, which make these entries so long - so I've rather make photo montages - to make it easier for everyone. I hope this will work better.

Yesterday was great. We went to the movies an watched the movie "In Time" - which is named Time here - even though I already watched it once, it was great watching it again - it's really good. You can buy a looooot of weird things in the Japanese cinema - we only bought Popcorn & Caramel Popcorn - which is, well, something I've never seen before. The Japanese popcorn taste different than Danish Popcorn - really. We ate some ramen, before we went to the cinema - it was really nice.

When we returned home I found a "flower tea" which I've tried once in Denmark before, I showed it to Sayaka-chan & Por-chan, neither of them had ever seen it before, so it was really funny showing them! In the video Por-chan is speaking in Thai & then we speak a little in Japanese.

Today, we just ate lunch (which tasted really good - even though it looks a little weird) & now I'm just about to start studying - again. So take care & have a nice day!

Talent Show & Nightmares

おはよう！！

I thought I should finally make that post of the talent show, as I said I would. So this post will probably just be full of videos and pictures.

I woke up in the middle of the night, this night, because I had a straaaange nightmare. I was in Denmark and a lot of things happened, somebody tried to explode our house, but when they failed they kidnapped me instead & all sorts of things like that. When I went back to sleep I had another nightmare - I have no idea what it was about, I just know that I was fleeing. So that was not the nicest way to wake up. At least we have a lot of icecream here <3 so I just ate that and felt better haha. Well take care!!

So, today & yesterday has been studying, studying, studying & more studying. I also talked to my sweet friends, Amalie, Pernille & Maria on Skype (a little with Sofie and the other Maria as well). It was super nice hearing about what was going on in Denmark - not that anything, except the weather, has changed haha.
Por-chan and I were at Otousan's office again today, where we both fell asleep while studying haha. At lunchtime we went to this cute little restaurant and got some SUPER delicious food!! It was so nice. Then we went back to study & home afterwards. At home I sat down in their SUPER comforting massage chair! Now, Sayaka-chan, Por-chan and I, is just about to make dinner - so take care!

勉強。。。

こんばんは！！

Today we didn't do much - I actually studied most of the day. Por-chan and I was with otousan at work where we watched Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and drank a lot of tea. Afterwards we went to get my picture taken - for my school ID and then we went to the bookstore and bought some N3 & N2 study books and looked at all the super cute Rilakkuma stuff. I really love Rilakkuma!! Otousan even bought me some new pants - so sweet of him (not in the bookstore ofc) !! Then we went home, studied, took a bath - and now we're just relaxing with tea.

I forgot to say in yesterdays post - Por-chan, Sayaka-chan and I went to Sapporo and shopped after we ate sushi. It was really nice, we took the subway to Sapporo and went around shopping there. I got the cutest sweater for only 948 Yen !! It was so cheap, I couldn't believe it. Then we did some purikura and walked to the Apple Store in Odori, where we looked around and bought shoes for Por-chan. After all this we went home, and the rest is in yesterdays post.

Finally!!

こんばんは！！

I'm finally in Japan, and I love it! I've been in Japan for 3 days now and I just arrived at my host families house. It's really big and they're so sweet. There will be a lot of pictures in this post, so please bear with me.

I took a flight from Copenhagen to Dubai 20th of March 2 PM. - Some of my friends came with me to the airport, it was really nice! I'm so happy that they did. - The flight to Dubai took 5 and a half hour and then we had to wait three hours at the airport in Dubai. It was so big and beautiful and we ate a lot of McDonalds and Hägendaz ice cream - it was 23 Degrees, so that was really nice!!

Then we arrived at Tokyo where we stayed one night at Narita Nikku Hotel - it was nice. The day after we drove to NYC in Tokyo (National Olympics Memorial Youth Center) Where we had our orientation. It was a very nice orientation, but I kept thinking about meeting the family + I was REALLY jet lagged - so I couldn't really think straight. At the NYC we got some 'classes' about when arriving at the families place - we also got great food, I even tried Natto which actually isn't THAT bad, but it smells horrible - here's some pictures from the NYC;

Then I took a flight to Sapporo where I met my LP, my otousan (father) and my okaasan (mother). We went around the airport and the we stopped and bought pancakes with icecream !! It was SUPER delicious! Aftwerwards we went home, unpacked and then drove to a jingiskan restaurant and ate dinner, also SUPER delicious - I love it. The day after (yesterday) we went to the airport again, to pick up Por-chan, a former exchange student (not with this family though) from Thailand who will be living with us for the next three months - she's really cute and super sweet, I really like her. We ate icecream and pizza at the airport - and then went home, ate dinner, took a bath etc.
Today Sayaka-chan came (my families niece - she lives here as well) her mother and father came along as well - and we had a cermony for my okaasan's dead mother, it was really interesting - even though I didn't understand anything. Afterwards we ate sushi, relaxed and then drove to a seafood resturant where we ate A LOT. Now I'm at home and about to go to sleep. So here's the last pictures in the right order. Oyasumi!!
